Run forest, run! SOTA have got their running shoes on!

Back to blog

Getting that summer body ready for 2016? So are we by the looks of it! We've noticed two peoples Steak of the Art lunches change dramatically over the past few months. They've swapped from a rather cheeky (BUT delicious) pulled pork and brisket bap, to our superfood avocado and cashew salad, or a lean fillet steak. Yummy!

Our head office ladies have laced up their running trainers and are well into their training for a couple of sponsored events in aid for some fantastic charities.

The wonderful Debbie (pictured), head of all things HR, and her super sporty family are walking the London half marathon at night. They are calling themselves 'Charlies Angels' and promise to dress in fancy looking bras to raise awareness and money for breast cancer. It's a charity that lies close to their hearts and close to many others too. Hear their story here, and any sponsors would be greatly appreciated.

Next up, the slightly mad (sorry, 'eccentric') HJ, our Arts and Events Coordinator, will be running 10k around Bristol centre for a small charity called Khandel light. Their mission is to raise money to fund long-term development programmes, giving people from some of India's most rural villages access to clean water and sanitation, education, and to raise the status of women. Hear more from her story here, and donations would be so gratefully received.

Running the Bristol 10k great run yourself? Book a table at Steak of the Art for a refuel, as our resident Jazz players sing for you between 1-3pm.

If you're training for any event, keep fuelled on our delicious high protein menu!

See you, your rosy cheeks and your well-worn trainers soon!
